By accessing the Website or placing an order, you (“you” or “the customer”) agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website or purchase our products.

1.1 Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years of age, or be using the Website under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian, to place an order.
• By placing an order, you confirm that the information you provide (name, address, contact details, payment information) is accurate, current, and complete.
• TJC reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order at its discretion, including in cases of suspected fraud, abuse, or violation of these Terms.

1.2 Products & Pricing

• All products listed on the Website are subject to availability. We reserve the right to discontinue or modify any product without prior notice.
• Prices displayed on the Website are in Indian Rupees (₹) and are inclusive of applicable GST unless stated otherwise.
• We make reasonable efforts to ensure product descriptions, images, and pricing are accurate. However, errors may occasionally occur. If a pricing or description error is identified after you place an order, we will inform you before dispatch and you may choose to cancel the order for a full refund.
• Product images are for illustrative purposes. As jaggery is a natural product, actual colour, shape, and texture may vary slightly from images shown, as described further in our Refund & Return Policy.

1.3 Orders & Payment

• An order is confirmed only upon receipt of payment (for prepaid orders) or order confirmation (for Cash on Delivery, where offered).
• We accept payments through the payment methods displayed at checkout, processed via PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment gateways. TJC does not store your card or banking credentials.
• In the event of a failed or disputed transaction, please contact us at the email address provided in Section 5 (Contact Information) with your order details and transaction reference.

1.4 User Conduct

When using the Website, you agree that you will not:

• Use the Website for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, servers, or data;
• Use any automated means (bots, scrapers) to access or extract data from the Website without our written consent;
• Upload or transmit any viruses, malicious code, or content that infringes the intellectual property or other rights of any third party;

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on the Website without our prior written consent.

1.6 Third-Party Marketplaces

Where you purchase TJC products through a third-party marketplace (such as Amazon or Flipkart), your transaction is also governed by that marketplace's own terms of service, return policies, and grievance mechanisms, in addition to these Terms to the extent they are not inconsistent with the marketplace's terms.

1.7 Limitation of Liability

• To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TJC's total liability arising out of or relating to any order shall not exceed the amount paid by you for that order.
• TJC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Website or our products, except where such liability cannot be excluded under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other applicable law.
• Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable Indian law, including liability for defective products causing personal injury under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

1.8 Force Majeure

TJC shall not be held responsible for any delay or failure in performance resulting from causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, government action, pandemics, or disruption to logistics networks.

1.9 Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Subject to Section 1.10 below (Grievance Redressal), any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Durg, Chhattisgarh, India.

1.10 Grievance Redressal

In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules made thereunder, and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, TJC has appointed a Grievance Officer to address any complaints regarding the Website or our products.
